Established in 2010, Bay Area Boxing is Bay Area’s go to choice for a friendly and welcoming atmosphere with quality training classes in boxing, Muay Thai kickboxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and strength training. We cater to ages 12years old and up and all skill levels.
For beginners and individuals looking for a great full body workout we specialize in unique boxing and kick boxing workouts (BayFit) that include a dynamic warm up, learning combos on the heavy bags, core strengthening and is focused on fundamentals and conditioning. These fundamentals and conditioning classes are great for learning the basics, great for getting in shape and are a stepping stone to our more advanced combat and technique classes.
Our advanced Instructional boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai classes are more combat/self defense focused. In these classes you will be diving deeper into the technique aspect and practical application. You will be working with other students learning how to throw combos on the Thai pads and focus Mitts as well as how to hold Pads for your partner. These advanced programs also include access to situational and open sparing classes for students who want to take their training to the next level.
At Bay Area Boxing we believe a good strenth training program can really complement your martial arts/combat training. That’s why we built out a weight room that includes 6 Barbell racks, that’s right six separate barbell rack for all your benching, squatting, and deadlifting needs. Our weight room also includes dumbells, kettle bells, a function trainer machine, lat pulldown and low row machine, assault bikes and rowers. We even teach two strength training specialty classes (BayFit CrossTrian) to teach you how to use weights correctly so you can burn and learn at the same time.
